My Fancy Images

Over the years, I’ve snapped a small number of pictures that, when judged on the proper scale shifted down by low expectation and an audience of one, have crossed the threshold into “art.” I’ve been having them printed on Shutterfly and displaying them in my day-job office, and I use them as background for my virtual office. They also go up on a Facebook post because, well, if I don’t do that, the tree didn’t fall.

You can now own an NFT of these images! Yes, it is real. You are not dreaming. All money made (minus fees) will be donated to charity. Shop here.

Since this site is my public-facing creative outlet, I thought I’d add them here as well. Each has a link on google maps to about where I was when I took the picture.

Lake Wenatchee in Washington State, east of Seattle.
November 2017
The picture was taken about here.
A door to a monk’s cell above the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. The Coptic church has buildings on the roof that are so moving because of their age and where they are.

The Location was near here, but there are no clear satellite images of that area.
Big Meadows Reservoir in Southwestern Colorado.
November 2021

Downtown Flagstaff, Arizona, as the sun was setting on a Friday night in the summer of 2022. The place I was standing was just bout here.
A glass blower’s shop in Jerome, Arizona.

The alley outside of Glady’s Bar in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. February 2022. While on the Star Trek cruise this was one of our ports of call. Fantastic food in old warehouses by the port. The location of the restaurant is here.

Santa Fe, New Mexico is like no other place in the US. It is one of the few places where you can find buildings over 200 years old. I don’t know how old this door is, but it was cool. Taken in September of 2023 about here.

You can see some of the images I make for work on the PADT Website.

Here is an example of a product rendering I did.
